  • Performance is at 2:20 PM - done by 4:00 PM

Just a reminder to all music students to wear your WHITE polo, BLACK pants, BLACK socks, and BLACK shoes for Wednesday’s holiday assemblies!

 ALL music students need to report to the West Gym at 12:45 PM!

Wednesday (Holiday Assemblies at 1 PM and 2 PM)

• ALL RED BAND has rehearsal at 7:25 AM in the West Gym!!!
• Make up lessons are today at: 8:30 AM, 9:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 10:00 AM, and 10:30 AM
• WHITE AND RED BAND STUDENTS NEED TO REPORT TO THE WEST GYM AT 12:40 WEARING CONCERT UNIFORM (White polo and Black pants/socks/shoes)

Thursday and Friday

• No band or lessons - have a GREAT holiday break and remember to practice!
• Our first day back is a RED DAY with ALL RED BAND MEMBERS PRESENT! 
• Jazz Band will meet after school on our first day back!

During the next trimester Discovery and Genesis students will sing, create, compose, move, play instruments and listen to music. These first few days we have been singing and moving to some new songs. Next week we will begin our first group project. Students will compose a piece of music that is based on Beethoven’s 4 note motif from his 5th Symphony. Students will rehearse and perform their compositions for each other.
