You may be asking yourself a little bit about our band program…
Our ensembles include:
- Red Band - 7th and 8th graders
- White Band - 6th graders
- Beginning Band - 6th, 7th, and 8th graders
- Flute and Clarinet Choir
- United Musicians Association (like a “stomp/blue man” type group)
- Jazz Band
The Springman Band members have taken part in events such as the Glenbrook South High School Homecoming Parade, Relay for Life, the Share It Food Drive at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, the Northshore Jazz Festival, the IGSMA Solo and Ensemble festival, the IMEA Junior High Festival, and various events throughout Glenview.
